Are you interested in developing finance processes, working with systems and data, and deepening your expertise in general ledger accounting in an international environment? We are now looking for a curious, precise and development-oriented Specialist, Record to Report to join Fazer Finance Operations.

In this role, you will be part of our Record to Report team, supporting high-quality, timely and compliant general ledger processes for Fazer’s businesses. Your work will combine daily general ledger activities, month-end and year-end closing tasks, reconciliations, reporting, statutory-related tasks and close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

You will work according to agreed processes, instructions and timelines, while also contributing to smoother ways of working, continuous improvement and the development of shared tools and practices. The role offers a strong opportunity to learn and grow in a changing finance system environment and to contribute to Fazer’s journey towards more transparent, data-driven, automated and standardised finance processes.

We work mainly onsite at our office in Vaarala. This is a permanent position.

Compensation

The role in question is a salaried position under the collective agreement for salaried employees in the food industry. The base salary of this position is between 3 100 € - 3 600 € / month depending on the knowledge and professional experience of the selected candidate. 

This role is eligible for annual bonus plan (as confirmed each year separately by Fazer) with a target level earning potential of 8 % of annual salary.

A role where you can grow

We hope you have a suitable commercial education, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or another relevant field, and some previous experience in accounting, financial administration or similar finance tasks. Experience in general ledger accounting, SAP or other finance systems is an advantage, but it is not a must.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow as a finance professional. It is well suited for someone at an early stage of their career who enjoys accurate finance work, structured processes and cooperation across teams, and is eager to learn more.

You do not need to have all the answers from day one. What matters is your curiosity, willingness to ask questions and learn, and motivation to develop both your own skills and the way we work. An interest in systems, tools and data, as well as openness to new ways of working, will help you succeed and grow in the role.
