Senior Manager, People Operations

As Senior Manager, People Operations, you will lead and continuously develop Fazer's People Operations function in Finland, ensuring high-quality, compliant and employee-centric services that support our people throughout the entire employment lifecycle. Leading a team of People Operations professionals, you will drive service excellence, operational efficiency and continuous improvement while creating a best-in-class employee experience for our employees and managers.

Your key areas of responsibility include:

•  Employment Lifecycle – developing and optimizing people processes, policies and services that support employees and managers throughout the employment journey

•  Payroll – owning payroll service delivery and external partner collaboration, ensuring a seamless employee experience, operational excellence and continuous improvement

•  Time & Attendance – leading the development of time management processes and systems, ensuring efficient, compliant and user-friendly solutions across the organization

•  Managing Projects – regularly leading or contributing to development projects of varying scope and duration. 

Additionally, you will work closely with HR, finance and other internal and external stakeholders, lead improvement initiatives, and utilize data and insights to continuously enhance service quality and ways of working. You combine strategic leadership with a hands-on approach to developing services, processes and teams that support Fazer's success today and in the future.

You will report to VP HR, Group Functions & People Services. This position is based in Vaarala, Vantaa, where you'll enjoy the dynamic environment of meeting with colleagues weekly, fostering trust and collaboration in person.

You have a solid understanding and experience of People Operations and enjoy developing processes and ways of working that support efficient and employee-centric services.

You are an inspiring leader who enjoys developing people, processes and services. With a continuous improvement mindset, you are comfortable driving change, simplifying processes and enhancing the employee experience. You combine a business-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills and build effective partnerships across HR, the business and external stakeholders.

You communicate fluently in Finnish and English and are motivated by the opportunity to lead a function that plays a key role in delivering high-quality People Operations services across the organization.
