Operational excellence in production and supply chain management is a cornerstone of Fazer’s success, and our factories play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality products to our customers and consumers. We are now looking for an Operations Director to lead the Aroma Operations and local factories in Sweden, with a strong focus on performance, continuous improvement and people leadership.

As Operations Director, you will have end-to-end responsibility for our factory operations, ensuring production is executed according to plans and targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will lead three factories and have overall responsibility for operations development at country level, taking clear ownership of operational performance, development priorities and ways of working.

A key part of the role is leading the Aroma operations integration into Fazer Confectionery Operations. You will ensure business continuity, manage operational risks, investments and drive harmonisation of processes, KPIs and manufacturing standards across sites, while supporting effective organisational and people integration.

In this role, you will report to VP, Operations, with a dotted reporting line to VP, BU Candy. This is a permanent position located in Sweden.

What you’ll bring to the team?

You are a results-driven and people-oriented leader who enjoys developing both operations and organisations.

You bring:

  • A Master’s degree in engineering, food science, economics or equivalent competence
  • Several years of leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations
  • Strong capabilities in operational excellence, LEAN and performance management
  • Proven experience in leading change and driving development initiatives
  • A structured and analytical mindset, combined with sound decision-making skills. Good recognition ability of various working cultures
  • Digital Systems and automation understanding
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across functions and organisational levels
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
