Communications Trainee

We are looking for a Communications Trainee to join Fazer’s PR & Media Relations team for the summer season.

In this role, you’ll support our international PR and Media Team across businesses, functions, and countries while gaining hands-on experience in corporate communications. Your work will include coordinating different kind of Media and PR activities, events, creating content for different channels, and assisting with press materials and interview requests. A key focus area is social media, especially LinkedIn, where you will create posts and moderate discussions. You will also support in certain internal communications activities.

You will report directly to the VP, PR & Media Relations, Fazer Group. The employment will begin as soon as the right person is found and continue until the end of August 2026. This position is based at our headquarters in Vaarala, Vantaa, where we work mainly on-site.

The role in question is a salaried position under the collective agreement for salaried employees in the food industry. Base salary for the role is 2 661 – 3 217 €/month, depending on the selected candidate’s expertise and previous work experience. In addition, we offer some other benefits such as discounts on Fazer products in our personnel store and epassi.

What you’ll bring to the team?

We hope that you:

• are a communications student, preferably in the later stages of your studies.
• enjoy creating content for different audiences and channels. You have strong writing skills, an excellent command of grammar, and great storytelling abilities.
• experience in social media or website content creation is highly valued, and skills in photography and video creation are considered a strong advantage.
• are fluent in Finnish and English. Good Swedish language skills are considered an asset.
• are above all curious, proactive, eager to learn and have a positive mind set. You have a can-do attitude, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are excited to take on a variety of tasks with energy and courage.
