Marketing Activation Manager, Travel Retail & Industrial

We are now looking for a Marketing Activation Manager to drive impactful shopper marketing and activation excellence across Travel Retail & Industrial, part of our Group Commercial Organization, enabling our journey to become a strong international FMCG company.

In this role, you will turn brand strategies into high-performing, insight-driven activations that strengthen Fazer’s visibility, shopper engagement, and sales performance across Travel Retail channels and customers. As Marketing Activation Manager, you will play a key role in translating business and brand strategies into best-in-class shopper experiences and activation plans.

You will:

  • Develop and execute shopper marketing platforms for priority brands and categories, based on insights, business objectives, and channel opportunities
  • Lead and deliver activation plans across customers, channels, and key touchpoints (in-store, e-com, trade events, exhibitions)
  • Drive customer-specific activations together with Key Account Managers, including promotions, POS materials, and visibility solutions
  • Manage promotional and novelty projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and building scalable activation
  • Own and implement key activation assets, including travel retail assets and exhibition presence
  • Ensure strong execution in digital and e-commerce channels, improving Fazer brand visibility
  • Analyze activation performance together with sales and controlling to drive continuous improvement

You will work cross-functionally and externally, collaborating closely with Travel Retail & Industrial Management Team and Category Leads, Brand Managers and BU Marketing teams, Key Account Managers and Field Sales, Consumer Insights and Communications teams, External partners such as agencies, suppliers, distributors, and retail stakeholders. You will also be an active member of key forums such as Travel Retail & Industrial Team, Commercial Excellence Lead Team, Shopper & Marketing Activation Forum, Category and commercial planning processes.

This is a permanent fulltime position located at our offices either in Vantaa (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark), Oslo (Norway) or Warsaw (Poland). You will report directly into the VP of Commercial Excellence and functionally to the Sales Director of Travel Retail & Industrial.

Salary

The base salary per month of this position is around 4750 – 5250 €, depending on the knowledge and professional experience of the selected candidate. The salary may vary depending on the country of hire due to local salary levels.

This role is eligible for annual bonus plan (as confirmed each year separately by Fazer) with a target level earning potential of 10 % of annual salary. In addition, we offer a range of benefits including for example discounts to Fazer products and well-being benefits.

What you’ll bring to the team?

We are looking for a commercially driven marketing professional with a passion for activation and shopper impact within the Travel Retail business. We expect you to have minimum 5 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, and/or marketing activation within the Travel Retail Industry with proven ability to translate brand and category strategies into shopper centric execution across multiple channels.

To succeed in this role, you must have a data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and optimize performance. You are experienced working in cross-functional commercial teams, have strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, and you communicate fluently in English; additional Nordic languages are an advantage.
