Specialist, Record to Report (General Ledger)

to join our Finance Operations team

In this role, your focus will be on general ledger processes and activities, period-end closing, and continuous process improvement across Fazer Group companies. You will work as part of a collaborative R2R team, supporting multiple entities and contributing to the delivery of high-quality and standardised accounting processes. You will take ownership of defined sub-processes while working closely with experienced colleagues responsible for end-to-end delivery across larger entities, offering strong opportunities for learning and development.

The role combines general accounting work with a strong process and systems perspective, including working with different finance tools and participating in testing and development activities across our Finance Operations system landscape, such as our ongoing S/4HANA-based Future ERP and Central Finance (CFIN) transformation.

Your key responsibilities:

• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing tasks in line with local GAAP, IFRS and Group guidelines
• Support process harmonisation and standardisation across entities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including development of tools, automation, reporting and ways of working
• Work actively with finance systems and tools
• Participate in Finance Operations system-related development and testing activities (e.g. UAT, validation, data checks)
• Collaborate with Finance Operations colleagues, business stakeholders and external partners

We work mainly onsite at our office in Vaarala. This is a permanent position.

The role in question is a salaried position under the collective agreement for salaried employees in the food industry. The base salary of this position is between 3 500 € - 4 200 € / month depending on the knowledge and professional experience of the selected candidate. This role is eligible for annual bonus plan (as confirmed each year separately by Fazer) with a target level earning potential of 8 % of annual salary.
