As we continue to strengthen and modernize our production operations, we are now looking for  As Senior Production Manager for Fazer Retail Sweden (Gateau), you will play a key strategic role in ensuring that our bakery production delivers consistently high quality, efficiency and safety across all our sites. This is a unique opportunity to influence the development of our Swedish operations and contribute to a strong, unified Nordic production approach

We are centralising production to improve quality, secure efficient flows and allow store teams to focus fully on customer experience.  In this role, you will hold overall responsibility for leading, steering and developing Fazer Retail Sweden’s production operations and related logistics. You ensure that production runs safely, efficiently and with high quality — while actively contributing to long‑term competitiveness, growth and profitability. The role combines hands‑on leadership with strategic responsibility and requires close collaboration across functions, production sites and countries.

You report to the Country Manager, Fazer Retail Sweden.

Your responsibilities

As Senior Production Manager, you will have full responsibility for daily production leadership in Skogås and Skåne. Your will lead a team of 5 direct reports. You will be responsible for shaping a high‑performing team culture, ensuring smooth operations and driving continuous improvement across the production line.

• Lead and develop the production organisation, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality operations
• Ensure continuous improvement of production processes, resource utilisation and delivery performance
• Implement and drive lean methods and KPI‑based performance improvements
• Drive profitable and effective production processes
• Secure stable processes in a fast‑paced environment with fresh, daily‑produced products
• Foster strong collaboration between production, stores, logistics and quality
• Drive change and continuous improvement to support our centralised production strategy
• Ensure consistent methods, processes and standards between production sites in Skogås and Skåne.
• Hold overall responsibility for work environment, health, safety and compliance within production.

You combine strong leadership with deep understanding of food manufacturing processes. You enjoy being on the production floor, understand the dynamics of fresh‑food manufacturing and can translate strategy into action. You listen, challenge, coach and lead by example.

• Relevant higher education in production, industrial management or food science or extensive experience in bakery/food production.
• 10 years of experience in production management in a complex environment in food industry.
• Proven leadership experience with strong coaching and development skills.
• Experience with budgeting, business management, process development and change leadership.
