Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing, Group Procurement

You will be responsible for the procurement activities and needs in the Contract Manufacturing (CoMa) category for certain Business Unit(s). You prioritize and execute procurement tasks according to stakeholders’ requests and according to our procurement policy.

As the owner of the procurement category, you develop sourcing plans in close co-operation with stakeholders and secure the implementation to enable successful launches of novelties.

In the day-to-day business you manage the supplier relationships while implementing new or outsourcing existing products. You continuously develop the supplier network and relationships for your own category, driving negotiations, supplier evaluation, selection, contracting, and sustainability agenda ensuring the best value for the Fazer Group.

You will be a member of the Fazer’s procurement community, and report to Director, Contract Manufacturing, Group Procurement. The location is Vantaa, Finland, however some travelling is required to successfully manage this position.

What you will bring to the team?

We are looking for passionate procurement professional with an international background and knowledge from Contract Manufacturing. Good project management skills and an analytical approach combined with proactive and goal-focused attitude to work are essentials. You are a result-driven decision-maker, a loyal co-worker, and a good team player with ability to work in a complex cross-country and cross-functional organisation. Your genuine interest in supporting the business operations of your stakeholders and your supplier relationship management skills will help you to achieve results. Your professionalism is based on at least 5 years’ experience in procurement and a Master’s degree in a suitable field. You are a convincing and a clear negotiator and you communicate fluently in English; other company languages are seen as an asset.
