Senior Manager, Logistics & Purchasing

As Senior Manager, Logistics & Purchasing, you will head Fazer long-shelf-life logistics operations, network development, logistics & purchasing best practice processes, process harmonization & warehouse consolidation projects and own the finished goods purchasing process. You will also be a key player in our ERP and supply chain planning tool projects.

You will be joining our One Fazer Logistics team. In addition to team members, your key contacts are our Business Areas & Business Units, Process and Solution Owners, colleagues in ICT organization and our 3rd party Distribution Centres. In this position, you will report to the One Fazer Logistics Director. Position is in Vaarala, Vantaa, where we mainly work onsite.

What you’ll bring to the team 

We expect you to have solid experience (+5 years) in managing international teams and different Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes, leading development projects and improving related technical architecture. You understand the SCM dependencies to ERP and other planning tools. You have worked with external logistics service providers & transportation partners and have previous people management experience and good influencing skills across organizational and geographical boundaries. We consider SAP tools, purchasing/procurement and FMCG industry experience as an advantage.

You have an analytical and process-oriented approach to solving problems. You tolerate complexity and uncertainty well and make decisions based on facts, pay attention to details and have the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You communicate and present fluently both in Finnish and English. Your professionalism is based on a Master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics or another relevant field.
